Sugar has a bad reputation. Not because it is unhealthy by itself, but because we eat too much of it, which leads to a range of health conditions. Sugar substitutes also have shortcomings. 

Fortunately, there are alternatives to sucrose, which is the table sugar we typically consume: Natural sugars that provide sweetness, taste, functional benefits, and are even good for you.

Allulose is...

Allulose is a low calorie sugar with the same clean, sweet taste you know from regular sugar.

Allulose is one of many different sugars which exist in nature in very small quantities. It was initially identified from wheat and has since been found in certain fruits including jackfruit, figs and raisins. It is therefore often called a "rare sugar" and of course a "natural sugar".

Unlike regular sugar, Allulose is not recognized by the body as a carbohydrate and is not metabolized as energy, so it has a negligible amount of calories.

I actually really dislike anything with sweeteners. Can’t even eat those sugar free yogurts or drink diet soda because the aftertaste really affects me. Honestly, Allulose didn’t have any sort of weird taste. Finally a sweetener that tastes truly natural.
